Ben Silcocks
It all started
with a school trip to Scotland and I have never looked back.
On completing my studies I went to Andorra to train to become
a ski instructor. I lived and worked there for seven seasons
and spent a winter in New Zealand teaching snowboarding.
I made the move to Courchevel in 2005 and have spent the
past four seasons there teaching skiing, snowboarding. I'm
currently an examiner for BASI. This involves training and
examining ski instructors. I have a passion for the sport
and enjoy sharing it with others. I hope to see you on the
slopes soon.

Keith Marshall
Having skied recreationally in Scotland from a young age, I took a year off from law in 2001 to go skiing for a season and travel in Japan for a summer. 6 years on, the lure of the Alpes is just as strong. I qualified fully under the British system (BASI) in 2005 and gained French equivalence at the same time. I have also trained would-be instructors for the BASI Ski Instructor course. In the summer I run an agency for Celtic Musicians and play the bagpipes.

Ben Brierley
I started teaching skiing in Andorra in 1998 before moving to Val d'Isere in the French Alps. I have been based in Courchevel for the past five winters, teaching skiing to a wide variety of people and enjoying the exceptionally good skiing that can be found here. Like Keith and Ben, I hold the highest British ski instructor qualification and have French equivalence. In the summer I manage a small adventure school on a remote Scottish island where we teach mountaineering, white water kayaking and wilderness survival skills. I have a great wealth of knowledge and experience and look forward to helping you do some inspirational skiing.
