Technical ability is only part of what decides your
level of ski ability. Confidence in skiing is very important as
well. We want to ensure that we find the right level for you and
consequently we endeavor to speak to all our clients before booking
ski or snowboard lessons. As a starting point the following guidelines
should be useful:
Beginner: You've done
heehaw (nothing) before apart from watch Ski Sunday on TV

Level 1: You have skied
on snow before or done some taster sessions on a dry or indoor
slope, but are not confident skiing a green run.
Level 2: You are confident
skiing a green run, but the thought of skiing a blue run makes
you shiver!
Level 3: You are fairly
confident on blue runs and hope to ski a red run before the end
of the week.
For more advanced ski lessons see our workshops
for some ideas.
Additional notes: if think you are a level two or three,
but you fit into one of the following categories, consider dropping
yourself down a level.
You haven’t skied for a few years and your first
lesson this holiday is going to be your first time back on snow;
The thought of a narrow or busy run puts you off
your skiing.
You’ve suffered an injury during or since your last
ski holiday and are worried about it.
Please get in touch if you are
unsure of your level, give us a call or send us an e-mail
and we can make sure you are skiing at the right level for you.
